McNally’s Irish Pub -- local Irish bar in St.
Charles -- has extended an opportunity for us to be “guest”
bartenders on Monday, Oct. 24th. Now here's
the good news: we can invite as many of our contacts and friends
as possible to come out to McNally's, have a few pints with us
and then donate some cash to help out Rich’s fund. Also "on tap"
is a 50/50 raffle, where we will sell tickets and split the cash
between the winner and Rich’s fund. And rumor has it that
the mayor and aldermen just may stop by after their City
Council Meeting that night.. So save the date on your calendar
and plan to join us -- it's going to be great fun for a great
cause!!
Rebecca Weaver, owner of Becky's Best in
Geneva is helping:
"Becky's Best will be having a fundraiser
for Rich Flores on Sunday, August 28th, from 11am-7pm. 25% of
all proceeds will be going to Rich and his family to help ease
some of his medical debt. We will be serving Ream's hot dogs and
bratwurst right off the grill. Other meal items like burgers and
Flaming Joe's Jerk chicken sandwiches will also be available
with a special appearance from Flaming Joe who will also
participate in the fundraiser. Becky's soft-serve frozen yogurt
and homemade ice cream will be available for dessert or an extra
treat! Becky's Best is located at the corner of Rt. 25 and Rt 38
in Geneva under the Mill Race Cyclery building. We hope to see
you there!"
